Senegal - MECIB
The pilot project carried out since 2003 with Icotaf Boubess Thrift and Credit Mutual Organization (MECIB- Mutuelle d’épargne et de Crédit de Icotaf Boubess) experiences an important development. It applies an especial contributions collection system relying on direct debit from savings accounts.
After the successful experience of MECIB healthcare mutual organization, PAMECAS network, whereof MECIB is a member, has begun the extension of the system to all its members.
