A new tool for Safety and Health at Work

  • Campaign
    Organized by: Workplace Safety and Health Council
    The National Workplace Safety and Health Campaign will launch on the 29th of April. The campaign, which will last until the 24th of May, will be based on the theme, "Safety starts with me" and is designed to reinforce the importance of safety among workers. The Campaign will include a total of 65 activites, including a Construction Campaign, a Safety Seminar, Foreign workers activities, and others involving the six new sectors covered by the Workplace Safety and Health Act of the 1st of March, 2008. The Workplace Safety and Health Council is collaborating with 59 employer and worker organizations in planning the events. The Prime Minister of Singapore will be the Guest of Honour at the launch of the Workplace Safety and Health Camapign. Other guests will include industry partners, including employers' and workers' representatives, government officials, and Workplace Safety and Health Council members.
  • Launch of Workplace Safety and Health Council, Exhibtion and Ceremony
    Organized by: Workplace Safety and Health Council
    The newly-formed Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Council will be launched with the mobile Workplace Safety and Health Council Container Exhibition. This container will tour up to 100 venues over the coming year, reaching approximately 200,000 workers. Additionally, the events will include a graduation ceremony for the first batch of safety professionals under the new Workplace Safety and Health Professional Competency Framework. The Prime Minister of Singapore will be the Guest of Honour at the launch of the Workplace Safety and Health Camapign and the Workplace Safety and Health Council. Other guests will include industry partners, including employers' and workers' representatives, government officials, and Workplace Safety and Health Council members.
