With the launch of the TCRAM project, "Enhancing the productivity, competitiveness and market access through decent work of the floriculture sector of Ethiopia," the tripartite partners have agreed that this year's World Day shall be commemorated at a flower farm. This represents the booming flower sectory in the country. The event will be held at the ET Highland flower farm, which is located 25 kms south of Addis Ababa. Approximately 250 to 300 guests, including government officials, employers, flower farm owners, employees, academics, researchers, local community members, local administration representatives and local school members, will attend the event, which will take 2.5 hours.
