The Construction Occupational Safety and Health Management Systems (COHSMS) Guidelines

by the Japan Construction Safety and Health Association (JCSHA)

The tailored guidelines for construction industry was developed, by the Japan Construction Safety and Health Association (JCSHA), on the basis of the national OSH-MS guidelines issued by the competent authority on Occupational Safety and Health, namely the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare. JCSHA has been promoting the application of its guidelines as a key tool for improving safety and health performance. JCSHA also provides a service to evaluate the implementation of OSH management system by construction companies.
