Recruiting Authors, Editors and Peer Reviewers for the 5th Edition of the Encyclopaedia
The four editions of the ILO Encyclopaedia served in their time as primary reference sources on the various disciplines aimed at reducing workplace hazards and the number of deaths, diseases and injuries they cause. We plan to make the fifth, fully online, edition to do the same. We would like to include in it the most up-to-date information on the various aspects of occupational health and safety, whether on a medical, scientific, technical, social or legal topic. Naturally, we would like to have the contribution of the best specialists in each subject, and this is why we invite those of you who think that you are among these specialists to offer your services. We need authors, editors and peer reviewers. We will need well-written text, good illustrations and skillfully prepared videos and other multimedia presentations.
We do not have as yet a detailed structure for the creation of the 5th edition. Developing a structure and the attendant procedures will be the task of the Encyclopaedia´s editorial team, under the guidance of the Steering Committee.
