Code of practice drawn up at a meeting of government, employer and union experts (Geneva, Switzerland, 30 Nov. - 9 Dec. 1981). Contents: General provisions, obligations of workers and employers, design and layout of workplaces; basic requirements for workstations, workplaces, traffic lanes and installations; basic requirements for maintenance, repair and demolition; basic requirements for electricity, tools, machine guarding and gas systems; transport and handling; substances and agents harmful to health; special requirements in iron and steel production; iron and steel foundries; working clothes and personal protective equipment; medical services and supervision, safety and health organisations, hygiene and welfare.
