TYPES OF
HAZARD /
EXPOSURE
ACUTE HAZARDS / SYMPTOMS      PREVENTION      FIRST AID / FIRE FIGHTING
FIRE Combustible under specific conditions. Gives off irritating or toxic fumes (or gases) in a fire. NO open flames. Powder, water spray, foam, carbon dioxide.
EXPLOSION Finely dispersed particles form explosive mixtures in air. Prevent deposition of dust; closed system, dust explosion-proof electrical equipment and lighting.

EXPOSURE
Inhalation Cough. Avoid inhalation of dust. Fresh air, rest.
Skin Reversible rash. Protective gloves. Protective clothing. Rinse skin with plenty of water or shower.
Eyes Redness. Safety goggles. First rinse with plenty of water for several minutes (remove contact lenses if easily possible), then take to a doctor.
Ingestion Nausea. Vomiting. Abdominal pain. Do not eat, drink, or smoke during work. Do NOT induce vomiting. Give plenty of water to drink. Refer for medical attention.

SPILLAGE DISPOSAL PACKAGING & LABELLING
Personal protection: P1 filter respirator for inert particles. Sweep spilled substance into covered containers.
