FIRE	Not combustible. Gives off irritating or toxic fumes (or gases) in a fire.		In case of fire in the surroundings: use appropriate extinguishing media.
EXPLOSION

EXPOSURE
Inhalation	Cough. Laboured breathing.	Ventilation, local exhaust, or breathing protection.	Fresh air, rest. Half-upright position. Artificial respiration may be needed. Refer for medical attention.
Skin	Redness.	Protective gloves.	Remove contaminated clothes. Rinse and then wash skin with water and soap.
Eyes	Redness. Pain.	Safety goggles.	First rinse with plenty of water for several minutes (remove contact lenses if easily possible), then take to a doctor.
Ingestion	Abdominal pain. Nausea. Vomiting. Diarrhoea.	Do not eat, drink, or smoke during work.	Rinse mouth. Induce vomiting (ONLY IN CONSCIOUS PERSONS!). Give plenty of water to drink. Refer for medical attention.

SPILLAGE DISPOSAL	PACKAGING & LABELLING
Personal protection: P3 filter respirator for toxic particles. Sweep spilled substance into containers; if appropriate, moisten first to prevent dusting. Carefully collect remainder, then remove to safe place. Do NOT let this chemical enter the environment.	UN Hazard Class: 6.1 UN Pack Group: II	Do not transport with food and feedstuffs.

Effects of short-term exposure
The substance is irritating to the eyes, the skin and the respiratory tract. Inhalation of the dust may cause lung oedema (see Notes). The effects may be delayed. Medical observation is indicated.

Effects of long-term or repeated exposure
The substance may have effects on the respiratory tract, resulting in chronic rhinitis and chronic bronchitis.

NOTES

The symptoms of lung oedema often do not become manifest until a few hours have passed and they are aggravated by physical effort. Rest and medical observation is therefore essential.
Health effects of exposure to the substance have not been investigated adequately.
