ACUTE HAZARDS / SYMPTOMS      PREVENTION      FIRST AID / FIRE FIGHTING
FIRE Combustible. Liquid formulations containing organic solvents may be flammable. NO open flames. Powder, water spray, foam, carbon dioxide.
EXPLOSION     In case of fire: keep drums, etc., cool by spraying with water.
 
EXPOSURE   AVOID ALL CONTACT!  
Inhalation Cough. Sore throat. Dizziness. Drowsiness. Ventilation, local exhaust, or breathing protection. Fresh air, rest. Refer for medical attention.
Skin MAY BE ABSORBED! Redness. Pain. Protective gloves. Protective clothing. Remove contaminated clothes. Rinse and then wash skin with water and soap. Refer for medical attention.
Eyes Redness. Pain. Blurred vision. Safety goggles or eye protection in combination with breathing protection. First rinse with plenty of water for several minutes (remove contact lenses if easily possible), then take to a doctor.
Ingestion Abdominal pain. (Further see Inhalation). Do not eat, drink, or smoke during work. Wash hands before eating. Give a slurry of activated charcoal in water to drink. Induce vomiting (ONLY IN CONSCIOUS PERSONS!). Give plenty of water to drink. Refer for medical attention.

SPILLAGE DISPOSAL PACKAGING & LABELLING
Personal protection: P3 filter respirator for toxic particles. Use face shield. Chemical protection suit. Sweep spilled substance into containers; if appropriate, moisten first to prevent dusting. Carefully collect remainder, then remove to safe place. Do NOT let this chemical enter the environment. T+ Symbol

Routes of exposure
The substance can be absorbed into the body by inhalation, through the skin and by ingestion.

Inhalation risk
A harmful concentration of airborne particles can be reached quickly on spraying or when dispersed, especially if powdered.

Effects of short-term exposure
The substance is severely irritating to the eyes and is irritating to the skin and the respiratory tract. The substance may cause effects on the central nervous system.

Effects of long-term or repeated exposure
The substance may have effects on the immune system, resulting in impaired functions. Animal tests show that this substance possibly causes toxicity to human reproduction or development.

The substance is very toxic to aquatic organisms. Bioaccumulation of this chemical may occur along the food chain, for example in fish and in molluscs. This substance does enter the environment under normal use. Great care, however, should be given to avoid any additional release, e.g. through inappropriate disposal.
