FIRE Not combustible. Gives off irritating or toxic fumes (or gases) in a fire.

In case of fire in the surroundings: all extinguishing agents allowed.

Inhalation
Local exhaust.
Fresh air, rest.
Skin

Rinse skin with plenty of water or shower.
Eyes
Safety spectacles.
First rinse with plenty of water for several minutes (remove contact lenses if easily possible), then take to a doctor.
Ingestion Abdominal cramps. Diarrhoea.
Do not eat, drink, or smoke during work. Wash hands before eating.
Rinse mouth. Give plenty of water to drink.

SPILLAGE DISPOSAL PACKAGING & LABELLING
Sweep spilled substance into containers; if appropriate, moisten first to prevent dusting. Then wash away with plenty of water (extra personal protection: P1 filter respirator for inert particles).

Dry.

PHYSICAL STATE; APPEARANCE:
WHITE CRYSTALS OR POWDER WITH BITTER SALINE TASTE.

CHEMICAL DANGERS:
The substance decomposes on heating or on burning giving off toxic and corrosive vapours such as sulfur oxides.

OCCUPATIONAL EXPOSURE LIMITS:
TLV not established.
ROUTES OF EXPOSURE:
The substance can be absorbed into the body by inhalation and by ingestion.
