FIRE Not combustible.   In case of fire in the surroundings: use appropriate extinguishing media.
EXPLOSION      
 
EXPOSURE   PREVENT DISPERSION OF DUST! STRICT HYGIENE!  
Inhalation   Local exhaust or breathing protection. Fresh air, rest.
Skin   Protective gloves. Rinse and then wash skin with water and soap.
Eyes   Safety spectacles. First rinse with plenty of water for several minutes (remove contact lenses if easily possible), then take to a doctor.
Ingestion Abdominal pain. Diarrhoea. Nausea. Vomiting. Weakness. Shortness of breath. Do not eat, drink, or smoke during work. Rinse mouth. Refer for medical attention. See Notes.

SPILLAGE DISPOSAL PACKAGING & LABELLING

Chemical dangers
The substance decomposes on burning producing toxic fumes. Reacts with strong oxidants and acids.

Occupational exposure limits

Routes of exposure
The substance can be absorbed into the body by inhalation of its aerosol and by ingestion.

Inhalation risk
A harmful concentration of airborne particles can be reached quickly when dispersed, especially if powdered.

Effects of short-term exposure
The substance may cause effects on the gastrointestinal tract and, by lowering the serum potassium level, on the muscles, heart and nervous system, resulting in muscle paralysis, cardiac dysrythmia and respiratory failure. Exposure (ingestion of high doses) may result in death.
