TYPES OF
HAZARD /
EXPOSURE
ACUTE HAZARDS / SYMPTOMS      PREVENTION      FIRST AID / FIRE FIGHTING
FIRE Combustible. Gives off irritating or toxic fumes (or gases) in a fire. NO open flames. Alcohol-resistant foam. Powder, carbon dioxide. Water spray.
EXPLOSION

EXPOSURE See EFFECTS OF LONG-TERM OR REPEATED EXPOSURE. PREVENT GENERATION OF MISTS! AVOID EXPOSURE OF (PREGNANT) WOMEN!
Inhalation   Ventilation, local exhaust, or breathing protection. Fresh air, rest.
Skin   Protective gloves. Remove contaminated clothes. Rinse and then wash skin with water and soap.
Eyes   Safety spectacles. First rinse with plenty of water for several minutes (remove contact lenses if easily possible), then take to a doctor.
Ingestion   Do not eat, drink, or smoke during work. Rinse mouth.

SPILLAGE DISPOSAL PACKAGING & LABELLING
Personal protection: filter respirator for organic gases and vapours. Do NOT let this chemical enter the environment. Collect leaking and spilled liquid in sealable containers as far as possible. Absorb remaining liquid in sand or inert absorbent and remove to safe place. T Symbol

IMPORTANT DATA
Physical State; Appearance
COLOURLESS OILY LIQUID

Chemical dangers
The substance decomposes on burning producing toxic fumes. Reacts with oxidants.

Occupational exposure limits
TLV not established.
MAK not established.

Routes of exposure
The substance can be absorbed into the body by inhalation of its aerosol and by ingestion.

Inhalation risk
Evaporation at 20°C is negligible; a harmful concentration of airborne particles can, however, be reached quickly on spraying.

Effects of long-term or repeated exposure
Animal tests show that this substance possibly causes toxicity to human reproduction or development.
