FIRE Combustible under specific conditions.   In case of fire in the surroundings: use appropriate extinguishing media.
EXPLOSION      
 
EXPOSURE   PREVENT DISPERSION OF DUST!  
Inhalation Cough. Local exhaust or breathing protection. Fresh air, rest.
Skin   Protective gloves. Rinse and then wash skin with water and soap.
Eyes   Safety spectacles. First rinse with plenty of water for several minutes (remove contact lenses if easily possible), then take to a doctor.
Ingestion   Do not eat, drink, or smoke during work. Rinse mouth.

SPILLAGE DISPOSAL PACKAGING & LABELLING
Personal protection: P2 filter respirator for harmful particles. Sweep spilled substance into covered containers; if appropriate, moisten first to prevent dusting. Wash away remainder with plenty of water.

Chemical dangers
Depending of the preparation method, the substance may ignite spontaneously on contact of finely divided powder with air or may burn on contact with air when heated above 200°C. The substance readily absorbs carbon dioxide.

Occupational exposure limits
TLV not established.
MAK: (Respirable fraction) 1.5 mg/m³ (DFG 2004).

Inhalation risk
A harmful concentration of airborne particles can be reached quickly when dispersed, especially if powdered.

Effects of long-term or repeated exposure
The substance may have effects on the lungs, resulting in siderosis.
