ACUTE HAZARDS / SYMPTOMS      PREVENTION      FIRST AID / FIRE FIGHTING
FIRE Flammable. Gives off irritating or toxic fumes (or gases) in a fire. NO open flames, NO sparks, and NO smoking. Powder, foam, carbon dioxide.
EXPLOSION     In case of fire: keep drums, etc., cool by spraying with water.

EXPOSURE
Inhalation See Notes. Ventilation. Fresh air, rest.
Skin Redness. Roughness. Protective gloves. Remove contaminated clothes. Rinse and then wash skin with water and soap.

IMPORTANT DATA
Physical State; Appearance
DARK GREEN VISCOUS LIQUID

Chemical dangers
On combustion, forms toxic gases.

Occupational exposure limits
TLV not established.
MAK not established.

Routes of exposure
The substance can be absorbed into the body by inhalation of its vapour and by ingestion.

Inhalation risk
Evaporation at 20°C is negligible; a harmful concentration of airborne particles can, however, be reached quickly on spraying.

Effects of short-term exposure
The substance irritates the eyes and the skin.

PHYSICAL PROPERTIES ENVIRONMENTAL DATA
Boiling point: 150-250°C
Solubility in water: none
Flash point: 38°C c.c.
This substance does enter the environment under normal use. Great care, however, should be given to avoid any additional release, e.g. through inappropriate disposal.

NOTES
Carrier solvents used in commercial formulations may change physical and toxicological properties.
Technical products contain between 1 and 12 % of copper.
