The World Day for Safety and Health at Work was celebrated on 28 April with the theme:

The World Day is an international campaign to promote safe, healthy and decent work to give occupational safety and health a high priority in international and national political agendas.

To celebrate this year's World Day for Safety and Health at work, the ILO SafeWork Programme has prepared various products and promotional material which are availabe on the Web.

In addition and in connection with the celebration of the ILO's 90th anniversary, a number of activities took place on 28 April at ILO headquarters in Geneva: a session including presentations relevant to the subject and followed by a reception, and the opening of the ILO photo exhibition that had been prepared for the occasion.
