ILO Working Paper on SARS

The Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) outbreak has led to many tragic events and provoked disorders in many health care and administrative systems around the world. In a joint effort, the ILO Programme on Safety and Health at Work and the Environment (SafeWork) in Geneva and the ILO Sub-regional Office for East Asia in Bangkok, have prepared a working paper to provide informal guidelines on coping with the threat of SARS at the workplace, drawing on internationally agreed standards on occupational safety and health.

The paper is available in English in PDF format at the SafeWork Web site.
