World Day for Safety and Health at Work is now an annual event for the ILO. It is intended to focus international attention on promoting and creating a safety and health culture at work and to help reduce the number of work-related deaths each year.

This year again, on 28 April, workers' and employers' organizations concurrently with governments and safety and health institutions around the world will celebrate the World Day for Safety and Health at Work.

All the information about the event will be posted on the internet site www.ilo.org/safework/safeday as it becomes available. This will include an ILO report on the theme Safe and Healthy Workplaces - Making Decent Work a Reality and various promotional products.
