In France, the National Research and Safety Institute (INRS) press release announced the appointment of a new Director-general, Stéphane Pimbert. A graduate of Political Science, he was a Consultant Manager in the EUROGROUP Consulting and Secretary-general of the Service’s department of AFAQ (French Association for Quality Insurance). Before being appointed Director-general of the INRS, he was assistant to the Director-general, Director of the Centre of Lorraine and since June 2009, Director-general ad interim.

Since June 15, Elizabeth Mills has been the CEO of the Industrial Accident Prevention Association (IAPA) in Ontario, Canada. She works with the Board of Directors of the newly-created Safe Workplace Promotion Services Ontario. Ms Mills has been the CEO of the Ontario Service Safety Alliance (OSSA) for more than a decade and she has previously worked in a variety of senior roles in the not-for-profit and government sectors. The new organization she’s leading is a merger between the IAPA (Industrial Accident Prevention Association), the FSA (Farm Safety Association) and the OSSA.
