2-year "Skin" campaign launched in Germany

«Your Skin. The most important 2m2 in your life». This is the slogan under which 106 German health insurance and accident insurance institutions will campaign from January 2007 to the end of 2008. The broadly-based campaign aims to reach everyone - including employers and workers. The goal is to stimulate a more conscious attitude among people towards their own skin and reduce the number of cases of skin disease. It is to be achieved by means of national and regional events, comprising sectoral initiatives, e.g. in agriculture, construction, health care, etc.

2m2-haut

This is the first joint campaign in the area of health-related prevention organized by, among others, the Federation of Institutions for Statutory Accident Insurance and Prevention (HVBG) [www.hvbg.de] and the Central Federation of Public Sector Accident Insurers (BUK) [www.unfallkassen.de]; two organizations to be merged as of June 2007 under the name of Deutsche gesetzliche Unfallversicherung (DGUV) [ Read more ].

Brochures, posters, leaflets and other promotional products will be made available. In addition, lectures and training courses for various industries and target groups (such as vocational schools) are planned.
