The European Agency for Safety and Health at Work and the US National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) pool their online resources in a joint website expected to facilitate knowledge transfer between researchers and practitioners on both continents.

The new web site follows the structure and presentation of the European Agency's website network and represents a significant contribution to the creation of a global portal to workplace safety and health information. As well as linking directly to EU information, the site is a rich source of OSH information in the United States.

The common website provides the occupational safety and health community with improved access and information sharing. The network also includes health and safety organizations from Australia, Canada, USA and Japan as current partners of the European Agency.
