The 45th annual Meeting of CIS National, Regional and Collaborating Centres will be held in Düsseldorf, Germany, on Wednesday 19 and Thursday 20 September 2007. The Meeting will be organized jointly with the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work and will take place at the same time as the Agency's meeting of Focal Points, some of which are also CIS centres.

The Meeting will be held in conjunction with the A+A 2007 Congress and Trade Show, jointly sponsored by BASI (Bundesarbeitsgemeinschaft für Sicherheit und Gesundheit bei der Arbeit), the ILO, the European Agency and other safety and health bodies. Participants at the CIS Meeting will therefore have the opportunity to attend one of the largest European OSH conferences and trade shows.

The CIS Meeting provides an occasion for representatives of the CIS Centres to discuss current issues affecting the network and to provide guidance to CIS on how to adapt its activities in order to serve the international occupational safety and health community better. This year's meeting will consist of two sessions: a joint meeting involving CIS Centres and European Agency Focal Points on the afternoon of Wednesday 19 September; and a meeting of the CIS network only all day Thursday 20 September. Representatives of the European Agency Focal Points and other OSH information networks will be welcome to participate as observers at the CIS network meeting.
