National Safety Council's

Robert W. Campbell Award

The Robert W. Campbell Award Program Committee of the National Safety Council invites organizations to participate in the 2007 competition for this international award which recognizes organizations that achieve business excellence by integrating safety, health and environmental management into their business operating systems.

Case studies must demonstrate how measurable achievement in safety, health and environmental management is linked to productivity, profitability and other measures of business performance.

Winning success stories are published and showcased at various conferences throughout the year. The winner will be announced at the National Safety Council's 95th Annual Congress and Expo to be held 12-19 October 2007 in Chicago.

Companies compete within separate size categories: Category I organizations are enterprises with more than 1,000 employees, and subsidiaries of those enterprises; Category II organizations employ up to 1,000 people.

The National Safety Council hosted the XVIIth World Congress on Occupational Safety and Health (Orlando, 2005) and is a CIS Collaborating Centre.
