CIS is pleased to announce the launching of the Virtual ILO-CIS Bulletin. This new CIS product contains the lastest records added to the CISDOC database. Publications are selected on the basis of their interest to the international community of occupational health and safety specialists, but also contain information aimed at non specialists. Each record entered in CISDOC and appearing in the Virtual Bulletin comprises complete bibliographical details, an abstract and a number of descriptors selected to characterize the document. Links giving access to the documents on the Internet are included when available. Individual records are classified according to the original document type (laws, training material, etc.) and further divided into subject categories.

Published in both English and French, the Virtual ILO-CIS Bulletin is designed as a tool for retrieving the last additions to the CISDOC database. It provides the same quality and quantity of information as the old printed Bulletin "Safety and Health at Work", discontinued in 2003, with the additional advantage of being free of charge and available to all Internet users. As an added bonus, search engines (such as Google) will also index it.
