Appendix G

About the International Occupational Hygiene Association

At the present time IOHA includes 22 associations from 20 nations with a total membership of about 20,000 persons: Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Japan, The Netherlands, Norway, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom and the USA. IOHA is a Non-Governmental Organisation of the World Health Organisation.

Objectives of IOHA

The Association has several objectives. It seeks to spread the benefits of occupational hygiene world-wide. It promotes the exchange of occupational hygiene information among interested individuals and organisations. It endeavours to promote the development of occupational hygiene and its practice according to the highest ethical standards.
