The Labour Protection Department (PROTRAV) is a department under the Social Protection Sector (PROTECT) of the ILO. It is composed of two units: the International Programme on Safety and Health at Work and the Environment (SAFEWORK) and the Conditions of Work and Employment Programme (TRAVAIL). PROTRAV deals with a wide range of issues relating to occupational safety and health, and work and employment conditions.
