Practice Evaluation Pamphlet - (pdf 433 Kb)
This pdf document is formated for recto-verso printing and assembly in pamphlet form

An essential step in anti-discrimination/integration activity --indeed in any practice-is evaluating it to determine how effective it is, and to identify improvements or changes needed to accomplish intentions.

The expressions "good practice" and "best practices" have been widely used, but often without reference to standards, measures or tools of assessment that permit making qualitative and comparative judgements.

To remedy this, ILO convened an inter-institutional working group to develop evaluative standards, indicators, methodology and tools to qualitatively assess integration and anti discrimination practices. The results of research and consultations over more than a year are presented here as an initial practice evaluation guide. Summaries of the consultative meetings are also included.
