| A database is being developed that provides information on working time provisions in the national legislation of ILO member States. This legal database will include basic information on traditional working time subjects, such as 'normal' weekly hours of work, daily and weekly rest periods, overtime and premium pay, and paid annual leave, updating and expanding information previously published in the Conditions of Work Digest, plus add an entirely new component containing information on legal provisions relating to part-time work and other 'non-standard' working time arrangements, such as flexitime and annualized hours schemes. The working time legal database will initially include information from 100 ILO member States, and will be available online in November 2004. |
