Sangheon Lee is a Senior Research Officer with the Conditions of Work and Employment Programme, specializing in analysing and monitoring changes in the quality of employment.

His latest publications include “Working-hour gaps: Trends and issues” (2004), “Working conditions and satisfaction at work: Determinants and interactions in new EU Member States” (2005), “Working time capability: Towards realizing individual choice” (2006, with Deirdre McCann), “Measuring working time laws: Texts, observance and effective regulation” (forthcoming, with Deirdre McCann), “Changing patterns in the world of work in Asia: An overview” (forthcoming, with Alan Wood), and “Seniority as an employment norm: The case of layoffs and promotion in the US employment relationship” (2004). He is currently editing a book on globalization and change in employment conditions in East Asia and the Pacific (with François Eyraud, Chandos and ILO).

He holds a PhD in economics from Cambridge University.
