Academic Excellence Award – 2018

On the occasion of the 18th ILERA World Congress, Seoul, Republic of Korea, the first Academic Excellence Award was awarded to Professor Thomas Kochan, Professor and Co-Director at the MIT Sloan Institute for Work and Employment Research.

The ILERA Academic Excellence Award was created in 2017 to recognize outstanding academic achievements in the field of labour and employment relations. The award is made once every three years and presented on the ocassion of the ILERA World Congress.

Any member of ILERA or a member of any of the national associations affiliated with ILERA may nominate a distinguished scholar known for academic contributions to the study of labour and employment relations and his/her active participation in ILERA.
