Youth-to-Youth Fund Sierra Leone
The Youth to Youth Fund is a competitive grant scheme that allows youth-led organizations to pilot innovative, small scale youth entrepreneurship projects. The Fund is a real laboratory of ideas that come from youth – from beginning to end – and promote local economic development. At its core, the Fund is about meaningful youth participation. We believe that by seriously engaging youth in finding solutions we can add significant value to the youth employment challenge. For more about the Fund in Sierra Leone please click here.
The Youth to Youth Fund in Sierra Leone is managed by the Youth Employment Network (YEN) and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) through the support of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
The map below shows the seven grant winners of the Youth to Youth Fund in Sierra Leone 2011. They were selected out of a group of 127 applicants that submitted their projects. Between them they will aim to create about 20 microenterprises and over 200 jobs for youth.
