This Handbook aims to provide state-of-the-art knowledge relating to managing national VET systems. It is organized by management functional areas and consists of 6 modules involving 18 learning units.
Module 1 suggests arguments for deciding the measure of government involvement in the provision of VET services.
Module 2 reviews recent trends in the administration of national VET systems.
Module 3 compares patterns of VET organizational and management structures.
Module 4 describes approaches to labour market signals-based planning and national strategic planning of VET services.
Module 5 reviews approaches and schemes of financing VET.
Module 6 compares frameworks that could be established in order to ensure productive operations of public VET providers.
