Introducton

EDUNET is a comprehensive educational information service system which allows all citizens including students, teachers, and the general public to gain access to valuable educational information via Internet.

EDUNET, an online educational information system, contains thousands of online services such as sharing educational resources, creating an online learning community, and personalized service. Users may access EDUNET from anywhere via the Internet.

EDUNET is an online community open to everyone. After registering to open a user account , you may gain access to EDUNET online services and resources free of charge

KERIS (Korea Education & Research Information Service) is a public organization established by the Ministry of Education and HRD in April of 1999. The main purpose of KERIS is to provide an open & flexible venue to learn, promote lifelong learning, and to develop educational resources through up-to-date information and communications technologies.

Educational Information Sharing Service

By establishing a 'communal usage system of educational contents' and 'comprehensive service system of educational contents' any educational information held by 16 municipal and provincial offices of education (educational & science research institutes) across the nation and EDUNET, including teaching and learning materials, training materials, education administration materials, a 'one stop' and 'any stop access' search will be possible through a comprehensive search service. Access to educational contents is made easier through a comprehensive search system which is made possible by sharing a standardized Metadata DB.

Through this service, the teacher and student may save time in obtaining teaching and learning materials by having access to different services at once, and find the information one wants more easily by specifications such as class, subject, grade, semester, chapter, and unit.

Teaching and Learning Resource Service

An easy and simple way to prepare classes! High quality teaching resource including multimedia contents, lesson plan and reference site is prepared for teachers. Student can gain access to a variety of interesting online textbook, animations and digital books, which would contribute to cultivating a sound mind. A variety of dynamic content and service for teacher and student will support school education.

Multimedia teaching materials

Multimedia Teaching Resources is a digital teaching database designed to allow teachers to use information communications technology for their classes. It is based on a 7th national curriculum, and provides various forms of data, such as graphics, sound, moving images, animations and modules, depending on nature of subjects.
Teachers can stimulate curiosity of their students with moving images about a dayfly in a science class and a diagram simulation program in a math class. Also, Multimedia Teaching Resources helps teachers develop bright ideas about their classes, rather than merely providing data. Compiled in a word format, it creates a textbook, and in a powerpoint format it produces presentation data. It is also transformed to another form of teaching resources when used for textbooks made by teachers.

Edunet online textbook

Edunet online textbook is a web based learning courseware, based on a 7th national curriculum. It is to lead children to pursue self-directed learning, and eventually promote creativity and problem-solving skills. Also, it provide a rich experience and a more interesting learning environment for student.

After students study respective units, they can evaluate themselves through quizes and send it to their teacher and get remarks on the result. This will enable students to receive education according to their own levels and enable teachers attend to students on a one-to-one basis. SCORM(Sharable Content Object Reference Model), international standards for educational contents, was applied to all learning contents and multimedia materials so that they can be recombined and used.

Edunet Cyber teachers

You have too many questions to deal with? Edunet cyber teachers will help students solve their curiosity on any subject!
EDUNET cyber teachers is a free consulting service which responds to questions on all subjects and sends out e-mails to the inquirers. As soon as an inquiry is registered, teachers who currently work at schools will provide an answer within 24 hours. Also, it is a quality one-to-one customized education service which complements self-regulated learning.

Edunet Community expands the range of learning through diverse learning activities and provides a more advanced community where a new learning method and professional knowledge is shared and developled. Edunet community is open to you where students, teachers and parents all participate!
