Construction Training Incentive Scheme - Ireland

The Construction Training Incentive Scheme is for firms in the Construction (Non- Manufacturing) Industry and the City, County and Borough Engineers' Department in the Local Authorities Designated Sector. It is designed to increase and improve training in order to increase competitiveness, quality and productivity. It is aimed at improving the skills of existing employees at all levels.
Grants must be available for the development of personnel at all levels and all occupations in the following key priority areas e.g.
Training grants of 80% of eligible programme costs are available to firms who attend specific Health and Safety Programmes in line with the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations 1995 (S.I. No 138 of 1995).
Training grants of 70% of programme costs are available to firms employing 12 staff or less.
Training grants of 50% of eligible programme costs are available to firms employing 13 staff or more.
