Regional Company Skills Survey - Hungary

The idea of the project came from the National Observatory conference, held in Turin 2000. According to the decision of the European Training Foundation, the aim of the survey is to identify key regional skill needs of companies, operating in one, PHARE-region of the pre-accession countries. The surveys will take place in the next 2-3 years, starting in Hungary, the Checz Republic, Poland, Lithuania and Estonia.
The first survey in Hungary, conducted by the NIVE, took place in South-Plain Region.

We also received comments and help from the representatives of the Development Agency of the South -Plain region, The Regional Development Council, The Regional Educational Centres, and the Chambers of Industry and Trade from the region.
Ater the sucess our previous survey in the South-Plain region, our institute decided to carry out a similar research in a different, economically more developed region.
