This longitudinal survey covers the Region of Lorraine. The field work campaign starts every year in november ending in december. The reference period for the interview is the twelve months subsequent to when the survey started.

Every person who lives in this household is interviewed and is part of the intial sample (persons who are followed in the successive waves). In 1988 and 1990 extentions were added to the initial sample by drawing, in the EDP, persons born after 1985.
