An ILO-executed Regional Programme for Advisory Support, Information Services
and Training in Asia and Pacific (ASIST Asia-Pacific) that supports regional and
country initiatives in close coordination with the ILO Regional Office for Asia
and Pacific, the Subregional Offices in Bangkok, New Delhi and Manila and EMP/INVEST
was initiated in 1998. ASIST Asia-Pacific is financed by DFID (United Kingdom
Department for International Development), Sida (Swedish International
Development Cooperation Agency), the Dutch Government, DANIDA (Danish
International Development Agency), and the ILO's regular budget. The current
phase of the programme is funded up to
mid 2007.
