Togo

A project for urban infrastructure upgrading started in April 1999. The UNDP funded project is executed in collaboration with HABITAT and will have a duration of 2 years. The project will concentrate on capacity building at a decentralised level in the areas of Lome and Tsevie and will assist in executing sanitation and drainage works in lowincome parts of the towns, as well as in the construction of markets places mainly with small contractor.
