Discussion Group

The following 4 discussion groups are opened that relate to the ASIST activities. They are all email based list-servers.

A list-server is like an E-mail user and is set-up for each individual group of persons needing to communicate on a specific subject. All persons interested in the list subject, may subscribe to the list. From then on it is just like using E-mail except that you don't need to send the message to all subscribers but need only send it to the list name instead. All subscribers receive an E-mailed copy of all the items that any other subscriber posts to the discussion group. ASIST sets up the discussion group with the intention that interested universities will participate and by round tour will moderate the discussions. By this, every university has a little ownership, and lively discussions will be stimulated.
