30th Anniversary of the MNE Declaration

In 2007, the ILO commemorated the 30th anniversary of its ground-breaking Declaration on Multinational Enterprises and Social Policy.

To mark this anniversary, the ILO organized a number of events in different countries as well as a special international Forum that was held in Geneva on 15-16 November 2007. The Forum drew prominent executives and labour representatives from around the world, and provided an extraordinary platform for sharing and exploring how effective practices in promoting labour principles can stimulate growth and enhance competitiveness.
