"Success from the "bottom up" perspective would be if large numbers of low-income persons understood insurance - what it can and cannot accomplish, on its own and in conjunction with other financial services - and make well-informed decisions about whether or not to purchase insurance...What I want to see is that they are making knowledgeable purchasing decisions and by doing so are starting to have greater influence over the design and quality of products and services that they can access."
Craig Churchill

"There is a need to build financial capabilities of low-income households so that they are more proactive money managers, understand their financial needs and see the need for microinsurance as one of several financial instruments helping to build their assets."
Michal Matul
