..... Company Survey on EEO policies and practices ..... GENPROM compiled e.quality@work: An Information Base on Equal Employment Opportunities for Women and Men, which contains information on national laws and policies and also the policies and measures of the corporate sector for promoting equality of opportunity and treatment for women and men in employment and occupations. The Information Base is available on the Internet via the ILO website and also in CD-ROM format (available on request) and is updated regularly. The Information Base on the website is open to all users and provided free of charge. The purpose of the Information Base is to act as an easily accessible source of information for academic research and, importantly, for government and non-government organizations and companies seeking to develop or strengthen their own policies and practices for promoting gender equality in employment and occupations. As part of the Information Base, companies were invited to complete a questionnaire seeking information to be included in the database.
