Government Programmes in Uganda - Ministry of Water, Lands and Environment

The project aims to implement the 1998 Land Act, which provides a legislative framework for a more effective and equitable land tenure system in Uganda. It is intended to improve the livelihoods of the poor particularly the women and encourage sustainable management and use of natural resources.
