Elimination of Sexual Harassment in the Workplace

In 1995, with the passage of Republic Act 7877 and Administrative Order 250, on sexual harassment, the Bureau of Women and Young Workers, in coordination with the ILO-Manila Office developed an advocacy plan on the elimination of sexual harassment in the workplace. The project, entitled Elimination of Sexual Harassment in the Workplace, aims to increase awareness and sensitivity among employers, personnel managers, union leaders and workers on the issue of sexual harassment and to enable them to develop a comprehensive policy and programme to prevent and eliminate sexual harassment in the workplace.
