Introduction - Nepal According to article 85 of the Constitution, the Courts in the Kingdom
of Nepal shall consist of the following three tiers: the Supreme Court,
the Appellate Court, and the District Court. Nepal's judiciary is legally
separate from the executive and legislative branches and has increasingly
shown the will to be independent of political influence. In addition to
these three types of courts, the law may also establish special types
of courts or tribunals for the purpose of hearing special types of cases. |
