Constitution - Israel

Israel has no formal constitution, though sections of a prospective constitution are embodied in a series of Basic Laws. The principle of equality or non-discrimination is not stated in any of the Basic Laws, but the Supreme Court has interpreted the principle as a fundamental component of human dignity found in Basic Law: Human Dignity and Liberty, 1992.

The right to choose ones own occupation and profession is, however, formalised in Basic Law: Freedom of Occupation, 1995,  which provides every Israeli national or resident with the right to engage in any occupation, profession or trade.
