Canadian Bill of Rights of 1985

Section 1 of this Bill of Rights defines a number of rights and freedoms that are to be recognized without discrimination by reason of race, national origin, colour, religion or sex. Among these rights, we can mention the right of the individual to equality before the law and the protection of the law (s. 1(b).).
