National Guidelines in Mexico - Regional Development Programme for Women in Rural Development This Programme has been administered by the Secretariat of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Rural Development effective since 1996 and is primarily a policy instrument for women in rural areas. The programme has as one of its main objectives the awareness raising at institutional level of the importance of the work and problems of rural women.
