National Guidelines in Japan - Regional Development

"Principles for Agricultural Policy Reform" and the "Agricultural Policy Reform Program" are two policies administered by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries  which provide guidelines for future food, agriculture and rural area policy promotion, as well as the Agriwelcome Plan for the establishment of women in rural areas. They include policies to increase participation by women in society in rural areas and entrepreneurial activity by women in agriculture. These polices also seek to develop women's capabilities and participation in agricultural management.
