National Guidelines in Italy - Council of Ministers, Equal Opportunities Department The Council of Ministers, Equal Opportunities Department produced "Guidelines for the Evaluation of the Strategic Impact of Equal Opportunities Actions" in June 1999. The general objective of the document is the improvement of the life condition and independence of women as well as a better evaluation of female resources. The document has the aim of facilitating gender mainstreaming under Structural Funds and to support the transition from strategies to the concrete measures.
