National Guidelines in Canada - Equity in the Public Service This Policy has been adopted by the Treasury Board Secretariat and departments and agencies of the federal public service. Its main objectives are the achievement of equality in the federal public service so that no person is denied employment opportunities or benefits for reasons unrelated to ability and the integration of employment equity into human resource management and business planning processes. The policy supports the government’s commitment to managing for results and providing quality service to Canadians. |
